Pump House

Overview

We engineer and document pump house installations for sprinkler and manual fire systems — covering electric and diesel duty/standby pumps, jockey pumps, tanks, suction arrangements, controllers, relief and test lines. Layouts are coordinated for access, ventilation, fuel routing, and serviceability, and compiled to ASIB, NFPA 20 where applicable, and relevant SANS requirements.

01. Scope & Data

Confirm system demands, available water sources, power/fuel, space and authority/insurer directives.

02. Layout & Coordination

Arrange pumps, tanks, suction/discharge, ventilation, power/fuel and access clearances.

03. Detail & Schedules

Finalise piping, valves, instruments, controllers; compile equipment and signage schedules.

04. Documentation

Issue approval-ready drawing set with notes, legends, and fabrication lists where required.

05. Submission

Coordinate consultant, authority and insurer reviews; iterate as needed to approval.

06. Handover

Capture revisions; deliver as-built pack and electronic archive.
