Overview

We design automatic fire sprinkler systems that comply with ASIB, NFPA, and SANS 10287/10400-T. From hazard classification through hydraulic calculations to block plans and fabrication lists, we deliver drawing packs that pass consultant review, insurer audit, and AHJ approvals.

What We Deliver

  • Hazard classification and design density selection
  • Full layout drawings (plans, sections, details, legends)
  • Hydraulic calculations with node reports
  • Block plans, valve schedules, and signage schedule
  • Pipe sizing, material specs, and hanger criteria
  • Fabrication/BOQ and as-built packs

Standards & Approvals

Designs adhere to:

  • ASIB Rules & directives
  • NFPA 13 / FM Global where applicable
  • SANS 10287, SANS 10400-T (local authority)
  • Insurer requirements (e.g., FM, SASRIA)

Project Scope

We support greenfield, retrofit, and tenant-fit-out projects:

  • Commercial, industrial, warehousing, special risk
  • Wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge configurations
  • Hazmat and high-pile storage considerations
  • Coordination with pump house and water supplies

Sample Output

Sample fire sprinkler layout drawing
Representative sample only. Client packs include title blocks, revisions, and sign-offs.

Hydraulic Snippet

Hydraulic calculation sample output
Node-by-node calculation summaries provided with demand vs. supply graphs where required.

Typical Process

01. Scope & Data

Gather architectural backgrounds, hazards, storage types, water supply data, and insurer/AHJ directives.

02. Layout & Review

Preliminary layouts with hazard classification for client/team review; iterate coordination clashes.

03. Hydraulics

Run calc grids, refine pipe sizes, confirm safety margins, and lock specification schedules.

04. Documentation

Block plans, valve schedules, signage, fabrication list/BOQ, as-built pack preparation.

05. Submission

Compile approval-ready drawing set for consultant, insurer, and authority submission.

06. Handover

Final sign-offs, revisions recorded, electronic archive delivered to client.
